Black Knight Mark II
Black Knight Mark II is an evolved version of the Mark I listed on this website. Like the Mark I, it is based around a concept of a premium guitar with an armoury of high output options.
Black Knight Mark II is a Solid Mahogany Body guitar with a Canadian Maple neck and Rosewood fret board for great tone.
It has 24 jumbo stainless steel frets with pearl inlays reminiscent of 1980's & 1990's heavy metal guitars.
Unlike the Mark I, the Mark II's pickups are Ceramic Blades for higher output and for more consistent mid tone sound across all strings. These pickups are exclusive Tone Hunter "Black on Black Double Blade" humbuckers in high end Ceramic Ferrite that produce high output over drive and HOT distortion with most pedals.
The Neck Humbucker has an output of 10k, the Middle Humbucker is 12k and the Bridge is 16k, so when connected together in series (ie in position 3 with the push button pressed), these produce a massive 36k output.
The switching allows the guitarist to control that massive power, with options for Single Coil and Out of Phase plus a patented push button that allows the neck pickup to be connected to the bridge in positions 1 and 2 and all three together in position 3.
Black Knight Mark II has a licensed Floyd Rose bridge, with a double locking system and a 43mm nut.
Tuners are standard Gotoh and the strap locks also standard. You'll notice also that the upper strap lock is behind the top horn and not on it's edge. This provides better holding and a more comfortable hold as it follows the natural fall of the belt off the left shoulder.
Yes, no one has thought of that before, but that's what we do here at Rebel Custom Guitars!
