Introducing the Rebel Custom Guitars’ “PROMETHEUS – EXUBERANTE” – A Single Cutaway with Custom Switching in a Natural Satin Finish!
A 25.5″ scaled Single Cutaway in H-S-H configuration featuring a gorgeous book-matched Burl Maple top over a Two-Piece Alder Body, matched to a One-Piece Tiger Maple Neck with Bolivian Rosewood Fretboard, 24 Stainless Steel Frets and Wheel Truss Rod adjustment at the base.
The Dot Inlays are Mother of Pearl with the 12th Fret Prometheus Head logo being engraved and white Epoxy filled.
Humbuckers are Seymour Duncan with an SH-PG1 Pearly Gates in the Neck, APS-1 Alnico II Pro in the Middle and SH-4 JB in the Bridge.
These are switched by a custom 10-Way Blade to provide all Les Paul and PRS tones in Bank 1 and all Stratocaster tones in Bank 2, plus 3 Dual Gang Push/Pull Pots to add Series/Parallel Coils for the Neck, Master Series/Parallel Humbuckers and Out of Phase in all combinations involving the Bridge. All are useable tones including very vintage sounding Stratocaster Quack in #2 and #4.
Tonal options are also limitless with Volume and Tone controls available independently for all three pickups.
The Bridge is the Gotoh 510T-FE Knife edge which is balanced to hold tune perfectly and the Tuners are HipShot Grip-Lock Open Gear with 18:1 ratio.
The Magnetic rear Control Cover is Quilt Maple and the Tremolo Cover also Maple with Rebel R Logo.
The hard case is custom made with form fit base and black chrome hardware.
