The Magnificent Rebel Custom Guitars’ Proxima!

A very custom and one-off design that continues our concept of traditional Telecaster shapes with very modern and cutting-edge enhancements.

From the choice of the ONE-PIECE Maple Body to the matching ONE-PIECE Maple Neck, treatment of the Stainless Frets, the quality of hardware and most modern electronics, Proxima is an incredibly versatile and extremely gorgeous guitar that is tough enough for any Metal variation yet remains classic enough for any Blues or Rock or any other application!

The Proxima name is inspired by the Alpha Centaury solar system and in particular Proxima Centaury which is the closest star system to our own Sun. The colors of this system are an incredible blend of Red, Back and the Yellow tones of new and Supernova stars. These are the colors captured within this body, neck and head. Of course besides the colored theme, the `out of this world’ power of Proxima comes in the power of the LACE pickups and in their configuration via a FREEWAY 6-Way switch and FOUR Push/Push Pots that provide switch options for any combination imaginable.

• ONE-PIECE Maple Body blank under Analine stains and a unique CA Clear Finish.
• Matching maple Neck in the same stain and finish with a beautiful Rosewood fretboard with unique Mother of Pearl logo inlay.
• Rear Control Cover is Quilted Maple
• Recessed Neck Screws
• Modern Stainless Steel frets that are perfectly level and crowned with modern rounded ends.
• Bone Nut
• Gold Locking Tuners with 19:1 turn ratio.
• Humbuckers are by LACE and are in the combination of Gold+Blue for vintage and P90 style tones in the Neck Pickup, and Red+Blue producing overwound and hot tones for the Bridge Pickup. These are great all round for Blues, Rock and all Metal variations but clean up very well.
• Switching allows for full humbucker, single coil, coils in parallel / series, Master Parallel / Series and a glorious Out of Phase to capture all the #PeterGreen and #JimmyPage tones. This is done via a 6 position toggle and 4 * Push/Push pots under custom themed knobs.
• The GOLD Bridge is custom alloy metal with individual saddles that intonate perfectly, and the GOLD Neck Pickup ring also alloy metal.
• Schaller Locking strap locks
• Brass Jack Cup in GOLD to match the Proxima theme.
• Action sits at 1.5mm on a 12″radius neck
• Solid Hard case available on request at additional cost (approx $120).

Nb: The guitar is newly built in 2023, however has seen some stage use and has a few minor abrasions.
