PROMETHEUS DOUBLE CUTAWAY in a Great Barrier Reef Finish

The Rebel Custom Guitars’ PROMETHEUS is a magnificent guitar as a base model to begin with. The body design is exceptionally well balanced and the neck integrates exceptionally well to add more balance.

The electronic strategy also is above world’s best practice by allowing more switch versatility than any guitar ever made on any production line.

So the only left for our customers, is to add their personality in terms of stain, colour and flamboyance!

This particular example features a most unique Great Barrier Reef finish with the blues, pinks and purples perfectly blending to form a vibrant harlequin finish that changes depending in the light that hits it. The base colour is purple, with a blue overlay on top and a further light purple on top of that to form a sandwich of purple highlights at various angles.

Besides the finish, this Prometheus version includes the Dominger Custom Pickups humbuckers that have a special wind that is unique to us! There is an imbalanced wind across the two bobbins so that when split, there is no volume drop and no compromise on tone! These are not HALF humbuckers when split! These are genuine 7,000 wind Single Coil pickups that have all the tone of any vintage Fender Single Coil pickup.

In humbucker mode, of course you get the full power of each pickup, but you have MORE power at your finger tips! Simply push the Bridge Tone button so that it activates when in the middle position and you get a SERIES connection that adds the Bridge pickup to the Neck pickup for over 20 ohms of DC resistance!

Of course we also provide Out of Phase which is an incredible tone similar to a Wah pedal at the halfway point.

We also off Series/Para versatility of the coils of each pickup so that you get even more tonal variation.
