The Beautiful Rebel Custom Guitars’ Jean Genie!

A beautiful, contoured telecaster base shape, with a Denim Burst stain, faux binding in a translucent black that allows the figure to come through, a High Gloss 2k finish on top with a Satin finish on the rear.

The Maple Top on this unique guitar is a Book-Matched Flamed Maple with grain and mineral pattern that looks perfect for the Denim Burst style stain on the top. This, plus the gorgeous 2-piece Mahogany back, the ergonomic contours, treatment of the Stainless Frets, the quality of hardware and most modern electronics, the Jean Genie is an incredibly versatile and extremely beautiful guitar that can handle Metal variations but remains classic enough to be at home for and look the part for any Blues or Rock or Heavy Rock styles!

The Jean Genie name is inspired by the song of the same name by the David Bowie character Ziggy Stardust. In fact the 12th Fret Logo of the 24 fret neck is the lightning symbol that represents Ziggy like no other.

Besides the beautiful stain, the power of Jean Genie is in it’s playability and tone. And this comes in the power of the Humbuckers by Dominger Custom Pickups in USA and their configuration via a FREEWAY 6-Way switch and FOUR Push/Push Pots that provide switch options for any combination imaginable.

Playability is also derived from the One-Piece Mahogany neck, Rosewood fretboard and the 24 Stainless frets perfectly leveled and crowned, on a 12″ radius.

• Two Piece Mahogany Body under a Book-Matched Flamed Maple Top stained by Analine Dye in a unique Denim Burst. The top is finished in a High Gloss 2k which balances perfectly with the Satin finish on the rear.
• Mahogany Neck with a beautiful Rosewood fretboard with unique Mother of Pearl logo inlay depicting Ziggy Stardust’s Lightning strike.
• Rear Contours for belly and high fret reach to suit the modern player.
• Custom Neck Plate
• Modern Stainless Steel frets that are perfectly level and crowned with modern rounded ends.
• Rolled Over Bone Nut
• HipShot Open-Gear Locking Tuners with 19:1 turn ratio.
• Humbuckers are by Dominger Custom Pickups USA and are in the combination of “Rising Sun” bridge and a “Whiskissippi” neck. These are great all round for Blues, Rock and all Metal variations but clean up very well.
• Switching allows for full humbucker, single coil, coils in parallel / series, Master Parallel / Series and a glorious Out of Phase to capture all the #PeterGreen and #JimmyPage tones. This is done via a 6 position toggle and 4 * Push/Push pots under custom themed knobs.
• The Fixed Bridge is custom alloy metal in HipShot and Gotoh style in a Matt Black finish
• Schaller Locking strap locks
• Brass Jack Cup in BLACK to match the Proxima theme.
• Action sits at 1.5mm on a 12″radius neck
• Solid Hard case available on request at additional cost (approx $120).

Nb: The guitar is newly built in 2023, and has never been played outside of basic testing, however, has a few minor abrasions.
