The Rebel Custom Guitars’ PROMETHEUS Double Cutaway in a gorgeous natural, satin oil finish has just been released, and it is a magnificent addition to the series.
The specs really are like something out of a Top 10 guitar in the world!

It IS top 10 in the world of all guitars ever made! And I don’t care if you include Fender, or Keisel or any custom guitar maker into the equation. This is one of the top 10 guitars ever made!
And why do I say that ?
Well, a magnificent two-piece Mahogany body certainly helps as a start!
Then we add a one-piece Mahogany Neck with a Rich Ebony Fretboard and 24 Stainless Steel Frets.
Add GOTOH locking tuners that are also staggered so a string tree is not required, and you’re looking at a quality instrument.
We like Joce Dominger’s pickups and the way he winds in particular so we added a `Whiskissippi’ Neck and mated it with a custom proprietary Tone Hunter Custom Blade Bridge! Both are ALNiCO magnets so they preserve the mellow beauty of the vintage tones! Having said that, crank up the volume on your amp and be more than confident that the pickups will handle any breakup with the most beautiful distortion ever heard! That’s our promise!
Adding to stability, the HIPSHOT .125″ Bridge allows for low action and speed for the shredders whilst preserving all the tone required by the more traditional Blues or even Jazz players!
Overall the balance is superb!
