Introducing the Rebel Custom Guitars’ “Sugar Plum Fairy” !

Themed like something out of the Wild Side of New York’s coolest club strips and blues bars, and beautifully stained Purple, Red and Vintage Amber, the “Sugar Plum Fairy” embodies the literal overtones of the generation! The 70’s were funky, bluesy and rocky all at the same time. Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbith were well in their peak, as were the funky Motown tones that were fast evolving into Disco. Ok that last one was a step a little far, and we’re not including a mirror ball with the guitar, however the point here is the versatility of the period and that’s exactly the capture in this wonderful instrument!

The body features a beautifully matched 5A Tiger Maple Top over a One-Piece Alder Back. This is matched to a Roasted Maple Vintage spec Neck with a Rosewood Fretboard and 22 nickel frets, Mother or Pearl inlays and a smooth Rolled Bone Nut.

Tuners are customised Gold Gotoh Locking with 18:1 ratio, Gold BABICZ Full Contact Bridge, Custom Gold Neck Ring, Custom Gold Jack, Gold Schaller style Strap Locks, Custom 6 position Toggle Switch and 4 * Push/Push knobs that provide Single Coil, Parra/Series Coils per Humbucker, Master Parra/Series and Out of Phase for the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop STHR-1 Hot Rails Set for Tele.

Another cool feature is also the Maple Control Cavity Cover, which is held in place, not by screws, and not by magnets, but with a precision fit that holds tight, but can be easily removed with a fingernail lift at the right-hand side of the cover.

• The neck is a One-Piece Roasted Maple back and head with a Rosewood fretboard with Mother of Pearl inlays, and vintage frets that are perfectly level and crowned.
• Rolled Over Synthetic Nut
• Custom Gold Neck Ring, Custom Gold Jack and Gold Schaller style Strap Locks.
• Gold Volume and Tone Pot covers with Abalone inserts.
• Tuners are customized Gold Gotoh Locking
• Gold BABICZ Full Contact Bridge Plate and Saddles.
• Pickups are Seymour Duncan Custom Shop STHR-1 Hot Rails Set for Tele
• The pickups are switched via Freeway 6 position switch and 4 * Push/Push knobs.
• Switching allows for Single Coil, Independent Coils in Parallel / Series, Master Parallel / Series, and Out of Phase.
• Action is low on a 12″ radius neck
• Control cover plate is held by precision fit with a gap at the top right to allow removal.
• Solid Hard case available on request at additional cost (approx $120).

Note: The guitar is new, but as it has a minor blemish at the neck volume knob, we have it listed as Mint condition. This can be buffed out.
